It often surprises me to find how many people now have Celiac disease or some level of intolerance to gluten and any foods that contain them. I suppose this is why the amount of public awareness and gluten free products has steadily risen over the last few years. I can honestly say that the internet and the plethora of gluten free blogs has made it easier for me to find a great number of alternative foods that I enjoy that do not contain gluten.

For instance, are the easily found great tasting recipes for pizza, pasta, and bread all of which contain high amounts of gluten from its usage of wheat grain.  Of course they are not exactly the same taste and texture however it’s a lot better than nothing.  You are also be surprised at how simple and cheap it is to procure many of the alternative ingredients.  This is made my transition to a completely gluten free diet nearly painless.

Of course my quests for finding gluten free alternatives to my nostalgic comfort foods that contain wheat or gluten.
